Class 2 Driver

Great opportunity to work as a Class 2 Driver for our client, a leading logistics group operating within the UK transport, warehouse, and fulfilment sector.

Staffline is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to work in Colchester.

The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour, plus £15 per day no infringements.

Overtime is available and is paid at time and a quarter.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 5pm

Your Time at Work

As a Class 2 Driver, your duties include:

- Ensuring you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
- Ensuring you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
- Following all company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code
- Maintaining all health and safety standards
- Completing all deliveries and collections as manifested
- Complying with all EU tachograph and WTD regulations
- Ensuring your vehicle is kept clean and tidy

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will hold a full LGV C (Class 2) licence, a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC, and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Applicants will have good communication skills.

Experience in a similar role is required.
