About the Role:

In this exciting temporary position, you will be at the forefront of financial statements. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements while driving the monthly close process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the work of accountants and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Providing insightful commentary and analysis on financial reports for Senior Leadership and the board.
  • Collaborating with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Contributing to the completion of annual accounts with relevant executive commentary.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a busy finance department within Financial Services, ideally within the Insurance sector.
  • Strong expertise in financial cycle reporting.
  • Previous exposure to working with auditors and preparing annual accounts.
  • A keen analytical mindset and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
