Design Manager

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Design Manager to Join their team on a permanent basis. This role is a Hybrid based role with the main location being Colchester. This role will be working on projects within the Water sector.

Design Manager Roles and Responsibilities

• As a Design Manager you'll be part of the Management Team involved in the different supervision of projects from inception to completion.
• You'll be working the Anglian Water contract.
• Working under the Framework Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Design team and sub-contractor designers.
• The role will require the effective utilisation of time and resources to meet budgets and delivery programmes.
• You'll be expected to carry out the implementation and monitoring of CDM and quality.
• Ensuring all designs meets required water industry regulations Anglian Water.
• Be accountable for producing designs on time, on budget, meeting agreed SLA's.
• Act as an ambassador for the company by supporting, promoting and implementing all company and Business Unit initiatives.
• You will be responsible for timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget.
• Facilitate internal and external review and progress meetings

Design Manager Requirements

• Degree or Equivalent within Design/Engineering
• Working knowledge of the Water industry is desirable
• Experienced within Design working within the Construction Industry
• Comprehensive IT abilities including MS Suite and ACAD Experience
