A client of ours in the Brightlingsea area are recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying 27,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily bank reconciliations, supplier invoices, and record keeping using Sage 50
- Process payroll, manage pensions and track holidays/absences
- Prepare monthly journals, management accounts, and assist with year-end reports
- Handle VAT returns
- Take bookings and customer queries
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Bookkeeper position:
- AAT accountancy qualified, Level 3 or above
- Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll experience
- Good all-round experience within accounts
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident in handling customer and supplier communications
