Production Operative - Outskirts of Colchester
12.62 per hour | 4 on 4 off shifts | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a successful and expanding company on the outskirts of Colchester, producing high-quality food products.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with excellent prospects for progression.

All appplicants must have their own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Work across various stages of the production line - including loading, checking, and unloading
Ensure the smooth and continuous running of the production process
Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping throughout all tasks
Follow all legal and company food hygiene requirements
Assist with internal audits and quality checks
Support other departments such as warehouse and dispatch when needed

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
A flexible and proactive attitude to both duties and working hours
Strong communication skills - written and verbal
A desire to learn and progress within the business
Own transport (due to rural location)
Ability to work overtime when required
Be local to the Colchester area

Working Hours & Pay:

4 on, 4 off shift pattern - 7:00am to 6:00pm (includes weekend shifts)
12.62 per hour
Overtime available at enhanced rates
