?? About the RoleAs a Technical Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and tailored solutions to our clients. You will handle inquiries, support our external sales teams, and help drive success from our office on the outskirts of Colchester.

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, offering technical advice on water management solutions, including drainage systems and water management.
  • Support external sales teams by preparing quotations, proposals, and tenders tailored to client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry professionals.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order processing.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practises.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to create customised solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM systems.
  • Provide product training and technical support as needed.

  • Background in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction, or a related technical field is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in technical sales, customer service, or a support role within the water management industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of drainage systems, water treatment, or related infrastructure solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
