Whats the role about?

As our Sous Chef, youll be the heartbeat of our kitchen operations. Youll work with a talented team, oversee production, and work closely with our Product Development team to make sure every dish that leaves the kitchen is as per recipe and of the highest qualityevery time. From recipe precision to food safety, youll set the standard and inspire others to follow it.

What youll be doing:

  • Working with and motivating a team of fellow chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensuring recipes are followed fully and dishes are consistently delicious
  • Acting as the go-to person for both day-to-day kitchen operations and product development
  • Championing Quality of food, food safety, , and innovation
  • Managing resources, meeting production targets, and keeping the kitchen functioning
  • Supporting and developing the team, including fellow sous chefs

What were looking for:

  • Recognised Qualifications in Catering
  • Solid experience in large-scale production kitchens
  • Proven leadership in a kitchen or food manufacturing setting
  • Level 3 Food Safety and GNVQ2/3 (or equivalent experience)
  • A sharp eye for detail and a love for great food
  • Confident with kitchen systems and paperwork from Quality monitoring to Food safety
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a calm under pressure
