Cyber Security Associate

The successful candidate will be joining the Cyber Security Team, assisting clients in developing solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. They focus on establishing the right controls, processes and structures for their clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information and assure the information provided to third parties is accurate, complete, and within their requirements.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Provide feedback to clients in a constructive manner
  • Share and collaborate effectively with others
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly
  • Follow risk management and compliance procedures
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in documents created
  • Completion of Audits with client
  • Reviewing client processes and procedures in line with Audit Requirements
  • Ad-hoc Cyber Security Related tasks
  • Support other team members or Departments as required

Person Specification

  • Possesses 2 years or more work experience in cyber security OR possesses a relevant degree in cyber security, computer science or similar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
