Are you a Management Accountant looking to take on more responsibility and move your career forwards? This opportunity would be a great move for you if you are! As the Finance Manger you will support the Financial Controller and oversee a small team.

As the Finance Manager your responsibilities include;

Produce monthly management accounts including P&L accounts, balance sheets and cash flows providing commentary on results and key variances.
Prepare year-end financial statements.
Assist in the management of the external audit process.
Key monthly activities will include: banking; approving purchase invoices and expenses; reviewing of purchase and credit control ledgers; payroll approval; balance sheet reconciliations; P&L reviews.
Manage cash flow and expenses
Assist in regulatory reporting framework
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Deputise for the Financial Controller as team manager when required.

The deal candidate will have;

Qualified or nearly to qualifying
5 years’ experience in an accounting role
Proven experience in financial and management accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Experienced user of general ledger and ERP systems
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in financial software applications and Microsoft Excel.
Experience of presenting data in PowerPoint.
