Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Colchester, Essex
Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing and production company in Colchester. This is a temporary ongoing position, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate.
We are looking for candidates with an in-date Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence. The role will involve general warehouse duties alongside forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving stock from production to warehouse areas
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and packing orders
- Stock counting and inventory control
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehouse
- Using the warehouse computer system for stock management
Ideal Candidate:
- Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
- Previous warehouse or stores experience
- Confident operating a forklift in a busy warehouse
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Good basic literacy and numeracy skills
Pay & Working Hours:
- Pay: 12.86 - 13.12 per hour
- Counterbalance licence: Monday - Friday, 10:00 - 18:00 (hours can vary)
- Reach Truck licence: Monday - Friday, 07:15 - 16:15 (hours can vary)
