Forklift Driver - Colchester
Pay Rate: 15 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Hours:
* Mon-Thurs: 7am-6pm
* Fri: 7am-4pm
* Sat & Sun: 7am-2pm
A well-established food manufacturer in Colchester is looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
The Role
You will be responsible for safe and efficient forklift operations across both the warehouse and the yard, ensuring materials are moved, stored, and loaded correctly.
Duties of the Forklift Driver Include:
Operating a counterbalance forklift in warehouse and yard areas
Supporting general warehouse movement and organisation
Working safely around forklift and truck traffic
Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment
Experience Required:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or yard environment
- Knowledge of food safety practices an advantage
- Experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
