We're working with a business known for its strong culture and collaborative approach, looking for an FP&A Analyst to join on an initial 15 month contract with the potential to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to add value from day one, helping to shape decision-making through high-quality analysis and insight.

Paying up to £45,000, the role is largely remote, with occasional travel to the Colchester office once a week. 

What you'll do:

  • Deliver accurate, insightful analysis for reporting and decision-making

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles

  • Track performance vs targets, highlighting key variances and drivers

  • Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders

  • Support scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis

  • Improve and automate reporting tools and dashboards

  • Enhance financial processes and controls

What They're looking for:

  • A background in finance or accounting—whether you're part-qualified, newly qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA), or qualified by experience

  • Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with tools like Power BI, TM1, or Adaptive Insights is a plus

  • Confident communicator—able to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

  • Skilled at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights

  • A proactive, collaborative attitude with a focus on adding value and driving improvement
