Ranfields Brasserie, an award-winning, AA Rosette restaurant in the heart of Coggeshall, is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. About the RoleAs Pastry Sous Chef, you will work alongside the head chef in taking charge of the desserts. Youll take a hands-on role in daily kitchen operations, contribute ideas for new dishes for our regularly changing menus, and ensure the highest standards are upheld.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparation, production, and presentation of starters and desserts
Develop and contribute innovative ideas for regularly changing menus and seasonal changes
Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety
Manage prep schedules and ensure smooth service
Support the Head Chef with ordering, stock rotation, and waste control
