Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 firm who are looking for an NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team in Colchester.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and assist on a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, under supervision.
  • Draft legal documents including letters of claim, instructions to counsel, and settlement agreements.
  • Liaise with clients, experts, and counsel to progress cases efficiently.
  • Support senior team members on complex, high-value claims.
  • Contribute to negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with procedural requirements.
  • Assist with business development and client relationship management.

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor (NQ-3 years PQE) with clinical negligence or relevant personal injury experience.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Team player with a proactive, client-focused approach.
  • Commercially aware and eager to grow within a busy, supportive team.
