Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Engineer to join their established and fast-paced team based in Tiptree, Essex.

Do you have a hands-on approach to engineering? Are you driven by problem-solving and innovation? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work with a reputable manufacturer using state-of-the-art machinery across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to all manufacturing operations and facilities.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair of machinery in a timely and effective manner.
  • Undertake machine servicing based on specific requirements and schedules.
  • Support general site facilities and ad-hoc engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure practical and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Availability for occasional out-of-hours support and overtime as required.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday | 07:30 - 17:00
  • Flexibility is required as overtime may be necessary.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum City & Guilds (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems.
  • PLC fault-finding knowledge and a PLC controls qualification.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities with practical experience in engineering repairs.
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness relevant to engineering environments.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • IOSH qualification (desirable but not essential).
