Part-Time Operations Administrator - Brightlingsea - 12.21 - 13.50 per hour
A manufacturing client of ours based in the Brightlingsea area is seeking a Part-Time Operations Administrator to support their friendly team during a busy period. This is a temporary position for 2-3 months, working 2 to 3 days per week (flexible on days), ideal for someone looking for short-term office-based work in a varied administrative role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and respond to sales and warranty enquiries via email and phone
- Support scheduling of deliveries and coordinate communication between the office and factory
- Assist with booking shipments through courier portals and tracking progress
- Help with customer and supplier communication regarding orders and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records for stock, deliveries, and order processing
- Support invoice creation in Xero and help match customer payments to invoices
- General office admin and coordination duties as required
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous administration experience in a manufacturing/logistics company
- Confident handling customer and supplier communication professionally by phone and email
- Experience using courier portals or booking shipments (preferred but not essential)
- Familiarity with invoicing software such as Xero (or willing to learn quickly)
- Excellent attention to detail when updating records or reviewing documentation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for basic data entry and tracking
