Our client, a leader in the design and manufacture of axial fans for a variety of industrial and life applications, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Colchester. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Designing and developing innovative products in line with technical specifications.

  • Producing detailed designs from concept to manufacturing readiness using advanced 3D CAD software.
  • Preparing and presenting project progress reports at monthly engineering team reviews.
  • Driving improvements in design tools and processes to enhance productivity.
  • Ensuring all designs meet customer requirements and adhere to quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in an HVAC engineering environment.
  • Proven expertise in development and delivery projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • An awareness of software and programming tools that can enhance project outcomes.
