Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Product Development/ Industrial or Manufacturing background looking to join a close-knit market leader who will invest in your continued development and give you the autonomy to take control of the NPD department and grow a team to become an NPD Manager, all the while developing new and exciting products and playing a key role in the business?

This company manufacture specialist products used within a wide range of manufacturing and industrial sectors. They are continually looking to innovate and grow their team to continue to establish themselves as a market leader in the industry.

In this role you will report to the Director of the business to carry out NPD functions in the business, including the development and design of new products, research and development, and NPI. As the business grows you will have the opportunity to recruit into the team, growing the department and progressing your career into a management position.

The ideal candidate will have a background in design and development of mechanical products in a manufacturing, product development, industrial or similar sector. You should also be motivated to constantly innovate and self-develop.

The Role:
* Monday-Thursday, 8:00-17:00; Friday, 8:00-13:00
* Design of new products for manufacture
* Research and development to innovate and improve new products
* Eventually recruit into the team to grow the NPD department

The Person:
* Mechanical Design experience
* Experience in Manufacturing/ Industrial/ Product Development
* Development of new products
