Multi-Trade Operative - Social Housing?? Colchester and surrounding areas??? Full-time | Competitive hourly rateWe have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our client's team, working within the social housing sector across Colchester and nearby areas.We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a first-class maintenance and repair service to tenants and properties. If you're proactive, reliable, and customer-focused, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks, including responsive repairs, void property works, and property MOTs.
- Work across a range of trades, with a focus on carpentry, painting and decorating, tiling, and floor laying.
- Apply basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work where required.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within agreed timeframes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in multiple trades, particularly:
- Carpentry
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Floor Laying
- Basic Plumbing & Electrical
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
