JGA are working with a great continuously growing business who are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team!

 JOB TITLE: Payroll AdministratorSALARY: £32,000 - £35,000STRUCTURE: Hybrid - 3 days office after probationLOCATION: Essex - Colchester A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Payroll Administrator to join a great team based in Colchester. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full client payroll setup and processing cycle across a wide range of industries.
  • Accurately configure and maintain payroll data, ensuring compliance with RTI and client-specific requirements.
  • Handle client enquiries related to payroll, including benefits, expenses, and statutory deductions.
  • Manage BACS submissions, pension auto-enrolment, and statutory payments such as student loans and maternity pay.
  • Generate and distribute P45s, P60s, and payroll journals, ensuring alignment with HMRC regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all payroll setup and processing matters.
Skills required:
  • Previous experience in payroll administration with exposure to client payrolls.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
