Are you an experienced Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking an exciting new role from September 2025?

We are working with a vibrant and supportive secondary school to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, ideal for a passionate educator looking to inspire students and raise achievement in Mathematics.

Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Support students of all abilities in developing their mathematical understanding and confidence.

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of schemes of work and resources.

  • Assess student progress and provide clear, actionable feedback.

  • Participate in the school's pastoral care system and contribute to a positive learning environment.

  • Take part in co-curricular activities and contribute to school duties.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and work collaboratively with the Maths department.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject and UK QTS (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience or training in teaching Maths at secondary level.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive, reflective approach.

  • Commitment to student achievement, wellbeing, and inclusive practice.

  • A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience preparing students for GCSE Maths.

  • Familiarity with current curriculum and assessment frameworks.

  • Competency in using digital tools and platforms for teaching and tracking progress.
