Behaviour Support based in Colchester - Immediate start
Strategy Education are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a new school based in Colchester Essex. This role is a contract to start asap and will finish 22nd July 2025, there is a possibility it may continue into the new academic year.
The school has good transport links and has parking on site.
You will be working closely with students to manage their emotions and behaviour in the classroom, corridors and at break times.
Working with the teachers, SENCo, pastoral team and outside professional bodies.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience of working with KeyStage 3/4 pupils as a support worker, teaching assistant, youth worker or SEN support.
Good behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
Empathy and a genuine passion for helping young people to regulate their emotions and overcome obstacles
Finally asense of humour!
