React Developer - 12 mth FTC

Just Recruitment is working with a growing, well established and market leading organisation, they are looking to add a React Developer to their existing team, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.The key purpose of the role is to assist with new projects, as well as working on the maintenance and development of existing projects.You will work closely with the wider business team on all projects.You must have the ability to accurately code design layouts. The end result should be pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive, secure, and performant.As an experienced React developer, you will need to hit the ground running!Required skills for this role:Knowledge in creating WordPress based websitesExposure to server-side JavaScript, APIsProficiency in modern JavaScript features (ES6+)Strong Experience in HTML and CSS.Have experience in working in an agency environmentExperience with Version Control systems (Git)Development in line with accessibility standards compliance and SEO best practicesCan work to deadline and juggle competing prioritiesWillingness to take ownership of projectsExperience using build tools (Gulp, webpack, Sass)Experience with automated deploymentExperience integrating third-party APIsHigh attention-to-detailYou must have: Proficiency in React & JS frameworksYou will:Have Strong communication skills both written and verbalHave the ability to communicate without jargonEnjoy variety and have the ability to switch technologiesHave an active interest in web technologiesHave an eagerness to learnKeen to mentor and share knowledge with other developersAlways strive to make things betterOffering a competitive package, as well as a great benefits package - this is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business.This role is being offered on a 12 month, fixed term contract basis.Please note - this role can be home based 3 days a week, 2 days working from the office in Colchester - you will need to live within commutable distance of Colchester.
