Academics are currently working with this large successful SEN School in Colchester, Essex. This post at the school will see the successful SEN Teacher teaching a KS2 class of children with with ASD.

The successful SEN Teacher will have an excellent working knowledge of Primary curriculum and hands on relevant working with children with ASD. A SEN specialism or additional training in this area would be advantageous but not essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to be able to work effectively with teachers across the school and the children's parent and carers.

Inside the school you will find a well-resourced classroom and a friendly hardworking team that pull together to make sure their children get the best Primary school experience. You will be mentored but a very experienced SENCO and supported by visiting therapists.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a diligent and hardworking Special Education Needs teacher to make a real impact for local children in a very supportive and friendly school environment.
