Mechanic / Fitter - Mechanical Bias
This is Field based role.( You must be willing to travel and work away Monday to Thursday).
A Field Service Engineer to cover the UK . You will be fully trained on their equipment. You will join an established Field Service Team. This would be an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to be trained on new machinery.
You will be required to work as a National Service Engineer which realistically means working away from home 4 nights a week. ( No weekend work)
You must be a British National who is able to get security clearance as us will be required to work on some defence sites.
You must be fit and be able to lift weights and work in confined spaces.
You must have good mechanical skills. (This role is mechanically biased gear, blade, chains,bearings,shafts).
You will have done a formal apprenticeship. (Ideally a NVQ or City and Guilds or HNC / HNDQualification).
The ability to read or understand electrical diagrams would be an advantage.
You must have a UK driving Licence.
You must be able to work on his / her own initiative.
You must be presentable and have good communication skills.
Basic Salary 34-35K
30 for each night worked away from home.
Pension 5% / 3%
40 Hour week
