Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and allocate vehicles and HGV drivers to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to service level agreements

  • Maintain full compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulationsand the Working Time Directive

  • Liaise with drivers, internal staff, and clients to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations

  • Respond swiftly to urgent delivery needs and adjust plans accordingly

  • Oversee vehicle servicing, maintenance scheduling, and MOT arrangements

  • Support cost reporting and daily operational planning

  • Handle service-related customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

  • Use industry software and IT systems to schedule, track, and communicate operations effectively

What Were Looking For
  • Experience in HGV fleet planning and transport operations

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

  • High attention to detail and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
