Spider is advertising on behalf of a leading crane service company who are looking for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their team in Colchester, Essex on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the role:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the smooth operation of diverse fleet, which includes vans, pickups, HGVs, and cranes. In this role, you will work daily with overtime on most days with weekend overtime available.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct routine services, inspections, and maintenance on all vans and light-duty vehiclesÂ
- Assist with HGV, trailer, and crane maintenance or take the initiative to progress in this areaÂ
- Carry out yard duties, including loading vehicles and participating in transport and lifting activitiesÂ
About you:
You will have strong experience and understanding in vehicle maintenance and repair. You should have a valid driving licence. It would be advantageous if you have a Class 2 and forklift license and have experience working with HGVs and hydraulic systems.
