A relevant qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, or diploma in Welding/Fabrication is required, along with personal transport due to the location.

A rapidly expanding company outside of Colchester, Essex are currently recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join their team.

This is a temporary - permanent position paying between 13 - 16 per hour, depending upon experience.

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

What does the position entail:

As a Welder / Fabricator, you will be required to set up and operate welding machinery
MIG weld sheet steel (1mm - 30mm thickness)
Cut steel using a band saw
Carry out grinding and drilling as required
Work from and interpret technical drawings

Candidate requirements:

Proficient user of fabrication machinery
Apprenticeship, NVQ, Diploma or similar within Welding / Fabrication
Due to location, you will have your own transport
Must be able to read from technical drawings
