Role Overview

They are seeking a proactive and hands-on Environmental Officer to support their environmental and regulatory initiatives. This is an onsite role, ideal for someone who is comfortable working in and around factory environments and is passionate about driving sustainability in a manufacturing context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and legal obligations across operations.

  • Support and manage environmental improvement initiatives and sustainability projects in line with our corporate strategy.

  • Collaborate with customers and supply chain partners to promote sustainable practices.

  • Work closely with a third-party partner to help drive net zero strategy.

  • Monitor and report on compliance and sustainability metrics.

  • Engage with internal teams to push forward sustainability projects with the support of the wider team.

Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of environmental compliance, sustainability practices, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Comfortable working in factory settings and engaging with operational teams.

  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills.

  • Degree not essential – we value practical experience and a proactive mindset.
