The successful candidate will have experience in a previous purchasing role and be able to meet the business's needs by effectively managing and maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring the timely supply of critical and high-value materials to satisfy customer requirements.

Responsibilities of Technical Buyer:

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships aligned with company standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders with a focus on best procurement practices.
  • Handle contracts, confidentiality agreements, invoice queries, and supplier negotiations.
  • Support tendering processes and assist bid teams with accurate lead time and product data.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
  • Skilled in cost analysis and budget management.
  • ERP system knowledge
