Randstad is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant and 1:1 Support professional to join our partner schools in the Colne area, starting this September!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing the classroom.

  • Help implement individualized learning plans and monitor student progress.

  • Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.

  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to your work.

  • GCSEs in English and Maths are generally required.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification) are highly beneficial.
