Sales Development Assistant
- Annual Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum
- Location: Congleton – Based on-site with a degree of client meetings off-site

We are seeking a Sales Development Assistant with experience in B2B sales to working with an ever-growing SME based in Cheshire. This role requires a candidate who can hit the ground running, is self-motivated, customer-focused, and phone confident for both warm and cold calls. The position offers the opportunity to transition from an office-based role to a mix of in-office and face-to-face customer interactions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage in both warm and cold calling to identify new sales opportunities.
- Provide product training and presentations during face-to-face customer visits.
- Manage and grow customer relationships, ensuring a high level of customer retention and satisfaction.
- Present quarterly sales figures, review sales data, and set future targets.
- Participate in the company's annual meeting to present all sales results.
- Initially based in the office with the potential to transition to a hybrid role involving customer visits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Knowledge of specific product areas such as rubber flooring & matting, welding safety, plastic curtains, and fly screening.
- Experience with Sage Line 50 is preferred but not essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and operate independently while being part of a team.
