Are you an experienced Analytical Chemist with a passion for precision and quality?

Our client are the experts in providing solutions for analytical instrument qualification. Working closely with the Technical Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of certified tools and reference materials within a quality-focused environment.

Your role will be two-fold. Primarily (ca.80% of your time) you will undertake the annual calibrations of OQ testing tools for global clients.The remainder (ca.20%) of your time will be spent producing market-leading qualification kits; sets of traceable reference standards for qualification of chromatography and spectroscopy systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Performing calibration and adjustment on Test and Measurement instrumentation (LC flow, GC flow, temperature & pressure)
  • Supporting the manufacture of products and reference standards
  • Conducting routine analyses using HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis instruments to support manufacture
  • Collaborating with production and quality assurance to support process and product development
  • Support laboratory investigations, including root cause analysis for out-of-specification (OOS) results
  • Communicating effectively with global clients to explain results and investigations, including the explanation of out-of-specification (OOS) results
  • Perform calibration and maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and compliance.

You will bring:

  • Degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
  • Experience in a GxP or regulated laboratory environment
  • Strong chromatography experience
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to work autonomously in a small, dedicated team.
  • Passion for quality and a “can-do” attitude, eager to get involved and make a difference
