Academics are working with a small village school just outside of Macclesfield looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child through the day.

The school itself is a lovely village school, based just outside of Macclesfield. It has public transport networks and having less than 70 pupils enrolled, values knowing all their students individual needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be able to support this students emotional and mental growth as they learn.

What you will be doing as an SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Keeping a child with ADHD and Autism regulated throughout the day to make sure they are having the best experience of school as possible
  • Providing solutions to problems that arise through the day to support the student
  • Working cohesively with other staff to ensure that the child is given the best opportunity to succeed
