MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Consett area. The role will be working as a sheet metal worker, including operating of Machinery and Weld practices.

The Job You’ll Do;

We are looking for candidates with Sheet Metal & MIG Welding experience.. The role would see you carrying out general duties such as Welding and Fabrication.

• Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
• To help prioritise workloads within the department
• MIG Welding Mild steel products
• Operating Bending machines and fabrication machinery 
• Working with thin plate 
• Working withing correct tolerances
• General fabrication duties
• Quality inspection of a range of components
• Manual Handling with heavy lifting
• Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times

About You;

• Previous experience in MIG welding experience
• Previous Sheet Metal experience (Ideally thin plate)
• A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
• Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
