Job Title: SLG – Traffic Management Supervisor

Location:  Cork, Ireland
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, maintaining, and removing traffic management systems, including signs, cones, barriers, and lights.
  • Ensuring road users, pedestrians, and site staff remain safe at all times.
  • Following strict health & safety guidelines and adhering to all site rules and regulations.
  • Carrying out site risk assessments and ensuring compliance with local traffic management regulations.
  • Operating in all weather conditions and potentially working flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and the public.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Relevant Traffic Management Qualifications – e.g., SLG (Signing, Lighting, and Guarding) or equivalent certifications recognised in Ireland.
  • Previous experience in traffic management, construction, or a similar environment.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety practices.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as required.
