Workchain is currently seeking a Laser Punch Setter to join our client in Copt Oak, LE12 on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Press Brake machines to bend, fold and form sheet metal products from technical drawings.
Our client manufacturer high quality parts for POS displays and their related products.
This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machine to produce metal components to precise specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings, folding diagrams and work instructions
- Select and install correct tooling, punches, and dies based on job requirements
- Perform first off inspections and conduct in process quality checks using measuring tools
- Make machine adjustments and corrections to ensure product accuracy and consistency
- Report any machine issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors
Key Experience:
- Competent with fabrication tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proven experience setting and operating a CNC laser cutting machine
- Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience with press brake brands such as Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or LVD
Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 4.00pm to 2.00am.
The starting salary is 16.00 per hour including shift allowance, 33,280kpa with excellent company benefits.
