Our client, a leading FMCG business based near Corby, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join their team on a 6-9-month fixed term contract. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations and you'll work closely with the Site General Manager and a dedicated finance team to provide actionable insights, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain financial accuracy.Key Responsibilities*Oversee financial operations in a high-SKU manufacturing setting.*Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, to inform decision-making.*Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.*Partner with key stakeholders, including site operations and procurement teams, to optimise profitability and drive efficiencies.*Provide commercial insights to enhance site performance and support the introduction Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.*Oversee the costing process for new and existing products, identifying cost-saving opportunities.What We're Looking For*Experience in a financial role within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector (essential).*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.*Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.*While formal qualifications (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) are advantageous, they are not essential for this role.On offer:Contract: 6-9 months FTCSalary: £50k-£60k, depending on experienceLocation: Corby (full-time, onsite)Perks include: Free onsite parking, subsidised canteen, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata)Start Date: ASAP (within 1 month)Contact Bethany at Henderson Brown for further information, don't hesitate to apply if you have suitable and relevant experience!
