Job Description: We are seeking a qualified MOT Vehicle Technician to join our client’s professional workshop team. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical inspections on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out MOT tests on a wide range of vehicles
- Carry out repairs to manufacturer standards
- Undertake road and ramp inspections
- Diagnose faults on vehicles
- Test drive vehicles to identify performance issues and ensure repairs are successful
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales
- Deal with warranty repairs
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualification and Experience:
- MOT Qualified IMI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in Automotive / Vehicle Repair (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a vehicle MOT Technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Full UK / EU driving licence.
