We have partnered with a forward thinking dealership that has over 40 years of experience in the heavy plant, new and used equipment services industry. They are looking to grow their team with the addition of a PDI Engineer. The PDI Engineer will be highly experienced technically and have the ability to work as part of an established team.

Role: PDI Engineer
Salary: 18-19 Per hour
Location: Within a reasonable commute of Corby

Key Responsibilities for the PDI Engineer:
  • Inspections: Conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections on equipment to ensure it meets quality standards and is in a safe and functional condition.
  • Repairs: Diagnosing and repairing any identified issues or defects on the equipment.
  • Modifications: Installing additional accessories, modifying systems, or making other necessary changes to the equipment before delivery.
  • Documentation: Recording all inspections, repairs, and modifications, and ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed.
  • Testing: Performing necessary tests to ensure the equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Problem-solving: Troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the PDI process.
  • Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations during the PDI process.

Skills and qualifications sought in a PDI Engineer:
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge: A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is often required.
