You will take on the role of an inspirational leader, collaborating with educators and the larger school community to create a safe and loving learning environment for students to excel.

As a Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will be:

  • To support pupils with varying additional learning needs and prior attainment levels across a variety of capacities.
  • To maintain and actively boost high academic and behavioural expectations.
  • To mentor and coach pupils in the development of their self-confidence and aspirations for their future.
  • To work cooperatively with all staff members to support every pupil to succeed.
  • To support and lead learning activities, developing the ability to teach whole classes in future.

Requirements:

  • Experience is not essential; Experience around young people is desirable.
  • To trial all candidates will require minimum of two references and an Enhanced DBS Certificate. (We can assist with this)
  • Committed personality and approach to working with young people.
  • Ability to remain positive and calm during difficult challenges/situations.
  • Experience working in a primary environment is desired, but not necessary.
