Overview:

Our client, a busy and hands-on logistics business based in Corby, is looking to recruit a HR Officer to cover an 11-month maternity contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid HR experience who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the HR functionfrom day-to-day admin to supporting management and employee engagement initiatives.The Role:

The successful candidate will oversee a wide range of HR responsibilities, ensuring the smooth running of the HR function. You'll act as the go-to for HR queries while also supporting managers with tasks such as onboarding, probation reviews, and recruitment.

Key duties include:

General HR Administration:Handling all aspects of HR admin and supporting documentationRecruitment & Onboarding:Posting job advertsCV screeningInterview coordination and supportPreparing onboarding paperwork and managing the processEmployee Lifecycle:Tracking and following up on probationary reviewsSupporting return-to-work processes and documentationCoordinating leaver procedures, including farewell cards and vouchersEmployee Engagement & Recognition:Coordinating long service awards and other recognition initiativesOrganisational Support:Ensuring Company Organisation Charts are accurate and up to dateWhat We're Looking For:Strong administrative skills and attention to detailConfident communicator, comfortable liaising with staff at all levelsAble to work independently and manage a varied workloadA positive, hands-on attitude with a proactive approachCIPD Level 3 or equivalent is advantageous, but not essentialAdditional Info:
