up to 35,000pa d.o.e + 15 shift allowance for night shift, Permanent, Immediate start, 32 days holiday, three shift rotation 6-2/2-10/10-6

Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, our clients UK Head Quarters of a global manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join them. You will provide support to the Production Manager, to ensure production targets are met:

• Setting and operating injection moulding machines to product run specification
• Programming and operating robots
• General maintenance of the tools, including tool replacement, fault finding and fixing on the machinery
• Maintaining headed runners, including nozzles
• Working closely with Engineering Team, ensuring the optimisation of machinery performance
• Training Operators & Packers on how to effectively operate machinery
• Completing all required audit traceable paperwork correctly daily
• Operating Counterbalance FLT truck when required

We would expect the successful Injection Moulding Setter to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of setting and maintaining Injection Moulding machinery, have an excellent eye for detail, with strong communication skills and be able to educate operators and packers on correct machinery operation practice. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures (in person training course from the machine manufactures will be provided). This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked with Injection Moulding Setter, Tool Room Engineering or a Senior Operator position (with some setting exposure).
