About the Company:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a well-established leader in the injection moulding industry. Due to continuous growth, our client is seeking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their dynamic engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimise production downtime by performing routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and responding to unplanned breakdowns within stipulated timeframes.
  • Ensure production operations maximise output and minimise downtime through regular planned maintenance.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to unplanned breakdowns, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
  • Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment through regular preventative maintenance, collaborating with the Production team to identify and address causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
  • Adhere to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments, and company policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding of fault finding and diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.
  • Electrical and Mechanical competencies.
  • Relevant Electrical/Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) are advantageous.
  • Electrical bias is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced production environment is essential.
