We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Production Manager to join our fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing team based in Corby. This role is perfect for a recent graduate-ideally with some exposure to the food production or FMCG sector-who's ready to step into a leadership position and drive operational excellence on the factory floor.
Your Role:
As a Graduate Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day production operations while leading and inspiring teams. You'll be focused on delivering quality products, improving processes, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Duties Will Include:
路Leading production teams to ensure efficient operations and consistent product quality.
路Managing production timelines to meet targets without compromising standards.
路Maintaining compliance with hygiene, food safety, and regulatory guidelines.
路Monitoring stock and inventory levels to prevent disruptions in production.
路Driving continuous improvement through Lean tools such as 5S/6S.
路Hosting regular team briefings to align on targets, updates, and safety protocols.
路Overseeing staffing and shift plans to maintain coverage and productivity.
路Being hands-on where needed-resolving production issues and supporting the team.
路Tracking and analysing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to reduce downtime.
Who We're Looking For:
We're seeking a motivated and practical individual with a genuine interest in food production and a readiness to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you'll have:
路Some prior experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG setting.
路A degree in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a similar field (preferred).
路Knowledge of food safety systems such as HACCP, BRC, or GMP.
路Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
路A hands-on, adaptable approach with a keen desire to learn and progress.
