We are recruiting for Vehicle Prepper in Corby, NN17 with immediate start.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Salary: £14.48 - £15.55 per hour (DOE)
Duties:
. Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming panels to ensure a smooth and defect-free finish.
. Ensure that all panels are free of defects prior to painting, ensuring the highest quality results.
. Work on a range of vehicles, including small family cars and light commercial vehicles.
. Work within standards and processes set by paint and dry goods suppliers to produce high-quality, cost-effective results.
. Assist the body shop team across different departments as needed, contributing to the overall workflow.
. Ensure that all work is checked and confirmed to be repaired to the required standard before starting.
. Accurately complete all parts requisition forms and ensure proper inventory control.
. Complete all tasks within the allotted time frame, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements:
. Previous Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician or Prepper.
. Driving Licence: Full, valid UK Driving Licence with the ability to drive both automatic and manual cars (essential).
. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to the company's standards.
