Quick Fix Technician

Location: NN17
Pay: £12.81 - £14.64 (DOE)
Hours: 06:00am – 16:00pm
Days: Monday to Friday

The Role

The Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Quick Fix Technician to join a busy automotive workshop. This role focuses on high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs, ensuring finishes meet original factory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out quick fix cosmetic repairs on vehicles, including polishing and rectification of minor paint defects

  • Removing scratches and correcting minor paintwork to a high standard

  • Ensuring all dirt inclusions are removed from newly painted panels, achieving a factory-finish result

  • Completing all company documentation accurately and following internal procedures

  • Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workshop efficiency

  • Supporting and training junior technicians when required

Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a Quick Fix / Cosmetic Repair role (essential)

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions when required

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A strong passion for the motor industry and pride in delivering work to the highest standards

  • Willingness to support junior technicians and share expertise when needed
