Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Corby
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 7:00am to 7:00pm
Salary: £36,728.23 per annum

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy site in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a wide range of vehicles, carrying out diagnostics and mechanical repairs to a high standard.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, repaired, and prepared efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical repairs in line with approved methods (e.g. cambelts, clutches, wheel alignment, MOT failure work, and general wear and tear).
Diagnose and resolve faults, recommending the most effective solutions.
Work productively to ensure all repairs are completed within set deadlines.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
Escalate where repairs may not be viable or could be completed more cost-effectively.
Keep work areas clean and safe, following all health & safety procedures.
Complete all relevant documentation accurately.

Skills & Experience

Level 3 qualified Mechanical Technician (or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently across a range of vehicles.
A proactive, team-focused attitude with the ability to balance technical tasks with wider business needs.
