Controlling site access, Key responsibilities include checking identification, logging visitors and deliveries, operating barriers and CCTV, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining health and safety protocols.The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create a professional and secure first impression at the entrance of a property.
Core Duties
- Access Control:Manage entry and exit, check IDs, and control vehicle and pedestrian access to the site.
- Surveillance and Monitoring:Operate CCTV cameras and monitor alarms to detect unauthorized access or security breaches.
- Visitor Management:Greet visitors, manage visitor passes, and ensure that only authorised individuals are on the premises.
- Deliveries:Oversee deliveries, maintain access/egress records, and ensure the safe movement of traffic.
Key Skills & Qualities
- Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for reporting, coordinating, and interacting with visitors.
- Customer Service:Ability to provide a welcoming yet professional first impression to visitors.
