A large-scale technology refresh programme within the defence sector is seeking an experienced Platform Solution Architect to take the lead on designing and delivering complex platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Lead architectural design, configuration, and implementation of platform solutions
?? Draft detailed technical statements of requirements
?? Define and assess architectures and business requirements
?? Produce high and low-level designs, including operating models
?? Work across private and public cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
?? Provide technical guidance to delivery teams and customers
?? Ensure Agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) are applied effectively
Ideal Candidate Profile:
? Strong experience delivering Enterprise IT systems within the UK defence sector
? Skilled in platform architecture and cloud-native solution design
? Proficient in creating technical documentation and architectural artifacts
? Excellent stakeholder management and technical assurance skills
? Must be a UK national with SC or DV clearance (or eligible with 5+ years UK residency)
